![]() ![]() I can't think of anything I would do really different in comparison to not running pitch-black, but a couple finer points might help. ![]() I do dark runs all the time, unless I am going to face a boss. ![]() It's not unheard of to go in with low stress and face heart attacks by the end of the battle (if the actual damage doesn't kill you first). You will surely take a large amount of stress when facing him. ![]() Facing him while poorly prepared is likely to result in deaths and possibly a party wipe, especially the level 5 dungeon version. It's rather harder than any of the regular bosses, and repeatedly summons two minion enemies every time it attacks (so they respawn if you kill them, but it's still helpful to kill them as they buff themselves every time they attack, so killing them will sharply reduce the damage output for a couple turns.) His attacks deal either blight, bleed, or shuffle to the whole party along with minor damage and stress, his minions deal higher damage and stress. Defeating it gives one of 5 ancestral trinkets that can't be gotten any other way. Ok thanks, but what are shamblers? Ever see a curio with a creepy red orb called a "shambler's altar", which says something about placing a torch if you crave the void, which you see maybe about 1 in 10 missions? Use a torch one of those, or rarely in zero light hallway battles, you face this special boss like enemy. There's not really much in the way of tips that are specific to low light, except remembering that at 0 light there's a chance of shamblers randomly replacing hallway battles (much higher chance on higher level missions).
